Once Saved Always Saved

16 Apr

I pray you receive this in Christ’s love, for this this is a serious issues today of whether once you are saved, you are always saved. It is a question that continues to be asked, and it seems to me it be much better to settle here before we stand before Christ’s judgement seat in Heaven. For we read in 2 Corinthians 5:10,”For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” So rather than take someone’s opinion I believe it be wisdom here to take the Word of God on this and let us continue seeking His Kingdom and His righteousness that all we need shall be added on.

We read in Acts 1:20,”For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.” This is referring to Psalm 69:25-28 and psalm 109:8-15 where Judas is referred to as having his habitation desolate and his name blotted out of the book of life. Could Judas who was an apostle have lost his salvation? How did Satan enter into a born again disciple? Luke 22:3,”Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.”

How is it not every thought you have is not always your own? How is it you have entertained thoughts that have tried to exult itself above the knowledge of the almighty Word of God? 2 Corinthians 10:3,” For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”

We read in Psalm 69: 25,”Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents. 26 For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded. 27 Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness. 28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.”

This is clearly talking about the reason for the prophesy here in verse 22 -28 That they persecute the Messiah who was smitten of God and afflicted Isaiah 53:4,” Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.”

Zechariah 13:7,” Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.”

Clearly, David certainly did not believe the modern fallacy that names can not be blotted out of the Lambs book of life. Here is verse 28 Neither does Papa God or Moses- Exodus 32:33,” And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.” Or the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Messiah Yeshua -Revelation 3:5,” He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”

If you overcome then Jesus won’t blot out your name from the Book of Life. Does that mean your name can be blotted out? Yes or No?_________.

Again we read in Revelation 21:7 ,”He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

So the first people who don’t make it into Heaven are those entertaining the spirit of fear which God did not give you (2 Timothy 1:7) and the unbelieving, maybe like those who say things like, “Oh I don’t believe those Scriptures are important or relevant for today”, What about the ones who think God stopped performing miracles and healing’s when the last of the original apostles past away. Hebrew 13:8,” Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”  So when exactly did the Lord stop if He is the same as He always is? And when did the Lord stop making apostles?

Ephesians 4:11,”And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;” They are all here in the same sentence, and then we learn why they are produced,” For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:”

No don’t  misquote me 1 Corinthians 13: 8,” Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.”
Now read carefully has knowledge past away? This is in the same sentence, if knowledge has not past away how did tongues and prophecies vanish away?

Revelation 22:19,” And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

Matthew 7:21,” Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

I believe God said what He means and He means what He said. Therefore today’s modern messages of grace on steroids may be rather dangerous to your eternal happiness. If we are going to be a child of God let us act like one all the time. Considering all the promises of the Lord are conditional. John 14:12,” Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

I pray we understand the deep significance now of Ephesians 2:8,”For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”  This is how we are resurrected spiritually from death in sins.

How awesome is the mercy, grace and love of Christ to save us and then send the Holy Spirit to help direct our every step.

1 Corinthians 2:16,”For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.”
Let us keep pressing in and be a doer of the Word and not a hearer only that we not be deceived. James 1:22,” But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” Trusting the Lord for every detail of our life.
If you knew there was a possibility of losing salvation would you be ever so much more diligent in staying on the narrow pathway of holiness?  Hebrews 12:14,”Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:”
Would you be care more about what the Lord think and says about you then the people around you?
Would you be more compassionate and live a life that is glorying to Christ? Would you practice forgiving all who offend you and repent of all those places you offended others and the Lord?
Would you continually ask the Lord to cleanse you from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit. Repent of any secret sins in your life before the Lord? 2 Corinthians 7:1,” Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” Meaning your spirit can get dirty just as your flesh can in this fallen world.
We are to help represent the Kingdom of God and think about things from His perspective.
Romans 12:2,”And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Romans 10:9,” that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” For if you call on the Lord you have faith to be saved.
We are all a work in progress after we are saved and aren’t we all wanting to share the Good News with others now and help be soul winners for Christ.
Philippians 1:6,”Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”
The Lord tells us in Luke 21:15, “For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.’ I say hallelujah! Because “All”, things are possible with God!

I pray the Lord’s supernatural peace, healing, provision and protection cover all those in agreement here always with oceans of agape love in the almighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Messiah Yeshua.
