Every Thought You Think

26 Nov

Every thought you think and meditate on, is actively making changes in your brain and affecting your body

Many years ago whilst living in UK, after recording my first record for the Rock Steady Label, I recall I was happy to be a full time musician. It was not always easy as there were many stressful moments, but I was playing my music surrounded my close friends and best of all I just married the girl of my dreams. Staying up late, burning the candle at both ends, and playing with my band in smoke filled venues may not have been the most healthiest lifestyle one could cherish, but it was our life at the time. Just as my manager secured some wonderful touring opportunities I was taken quite ill with a case of Pneumonia and found myself in the Royal infirmary. It could not have happened at a worse time for me career wise, however I was rather unaware as many were in that day that 80% to 95% of all sickness and disease started in our thought life. One of our friends told me back then that it was all in my head. I recall thinking no I rather think its in my lungs, but now looking back retrospectively my friend could not have made a more accurate statement.

Scientific and medical research on the brain is proving that everything that goes on in your thought life is converted into a physical reaction in your body, (your holy temple). You are a soul and spirit living in a mind and body. Your spirit will either be influenced by the Holy Spirit or it will be influenced by unholy spirits and you get to choose moment by moment.

Therefore what we chose to think about tremendously affects us physically, spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually. For every thought that you meditate and dwell on, causes a physical reaction in your body becoming an electrical current travelling along the nerves in your brain. This then dictates the production of various hormones and chemicals that are secreted to flow throughout your entire body in response to those thoughts. Toxic thinking causes over and under secretions of certain chemicals which take your body out of harmony and brings it into ciaos.

In other words, what you allow yourself to think about will in fact affect your entire body and life. The main gland of the limbic system is the hypothalamus, often called the brain of the endocrine system. Your hypothalamus is designed to respond to your thought life. This is very important; it can only produce chemicals in response to what is going on with you deep within your soul and spirit.

Your endocrine system including all the hormones, nervous system, your immune system, gastrointestinal system, heart and blood vessels, bones and muscles are all absolutely directly affected by your thought life. Keeping in mind not every thought you have is your own. Someone has to think a thought to begin one and we are surround by both visible and the invisible supernaturally speaking.

Hebrews 12:1,”Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.“

Every thought you think and meditate on, is actively making changes in your brain and body in either a positive or destructive way. You have between 30.000 and 70.000 thoughts a day, if you are being obedient to Christ you must practice forgiveness the moment you are offended.

As we read in places like 2 Corinthians 10: 3,” For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;“

The way the enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy is by entering first in your imagination. Therefore you must learn to practice discernment, and recognise the ways of the devil and then be quick to cast him out, throw out any ungodly thinking in the almighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth/ Messiah Yeshua!

We need to discern and recognise the devils always lies and that the devil has no power. If Jesus said Matthew 28:18,”And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.”

That means the devil has no power, but he is the great deceiver and keep in mind that the Lord Jesus also said to us in places likeLuke 10:19,”Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

Therefore, learn to practice thinking about good things as the Lord instructs us in places like Philippians 4:8, ”Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.“

Thinking on the love of God and his good plan for your life in eternity will cause your brain to convert these positive thoughts into a reaction that is going to produce health in your body. It will release healing molecules and do what the Lord says it shall do as we read in places like Proverbs 17: 22,”A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.“

Research has only confirmed the Word of God that Keeping a cheerful mind absolutely promotes healing.

Most people it would appear today may think that just entertaining a thought seems harmless enough, however, if it is a toxic thought that causes you to feel badly about yourself or someone else, that thought can become dangerous to you physically, spiritually, emotionally and trigger issues in your health. If you entertain toxic thinking like the spirit of fear that God did not give you, (2 Timothy 1:7) like the spirit of anxiety, self-hatred, self-condemnation, self-rejection, anger, rage, retaliation, bitterness, unforgiveness, jealousy and envy and so on, your body can only respond accordingly by secreting chemicals and hormones in response to the unclean spirits you are entertaining and that you are allowing to access you. These are the strongholds according to 2 Corinthians chapter 10 that need to come down as they are certainly spiritual attacks sent by the devil and they are always counterproductive to your health and rob you of the supernatural peace the Lord Jesus/Yeshua offers you.

John 14:27,” Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.“

You and I, my friends are in charge of our thought life and that means taking charge and good care of your brain. Because your brain is converting all your thoughts into a physical reaction that will either lead to health or to the  development of diseases in your body and you basically get to decide!

Stay in Holiness my friends! I pray the Lord’s supernatural peace, healing, provision and protection cover you always with oceans of Agape love.

Thanksgiving Day 2014 Retrospectively

26 Nov

Thanksgiving Day 2014 Retrospectively

In 1609 – there were approximately 300 colonists that arrived in Jamestown. That winter, because their food supplies had pretty much run out, 80% of the people died from starvation and assorted diseases.
Around 1620 – The Puritan’s who believe God said what He means and means what He said, which today we call the Pilgrims boarded the Mayflower. Three months later they landed at Plymouth. Within the first year, half of them perished. Sounds like they certainly had their fare share of grief and sorrow as the enemy of our souls was obviously trying to stop them from the vision the Lord must have given them. In 1621-The Pilgrims dedicated three days for a Thanksgiving Feast to give God glory. Imagine doing that against all the suffering that was going on. Mind you these were Bible believing Christians and they understood Leviticus 23.

In 1689 – During the next 74 years, four very bloody North American wars were fought between England and France. The final conflict with the French and Indian War made the British leaders decide to tighten its grip on the colonies, Which ultimately led to the American Revolution. Keeping in mind you can only oppress people so far before the spirit of freedom designed in our DNA engages and ignites. All they were saying is give peace a chance because it did not seem to be working and it won’t until the Prince of Peace returns which appears to be now imminent.

In 1776 – America declared independence from England. That must have been sort of like a David and Goliath type thing when you consider all that was going on here. So America wins its independence, and becomes the world’s first colony to break away from a parent country. What I believe many may overlook is that also came with some spirits of rejection and abandonment on both sides.

Free Mason member George Washington was quoted to have said: “It will not be believed that such a force as Great Britain, after eight years of military employment, could be so baffled in their plans…by men oftentimes half-starved, almost always sick, without pay, and experiencing every distress which the human nature is capable of enduring.” I believe this had to be an act of God for such a thing to have happen in the same way Israel became a nation again and fulfills ancient prophecy. (Isaiah 66:8) People say things like Rome wasn’t built in a day yet this verse, whilst confessing the absurdity of a nation being formed in one day, also promises that Israel would again become a nation. As we study the Scriptures we also understand this shall happen before the Lord Jesus/Yeshua returns. Matthew 24:34,”Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.” This passage in Isaiah and others by the Lord Jesus leaves no room for doubt as to what this prophecy indicates.

Now consider also the risk involved here because if the Americans had lost George Washington being an Englishman would have certainly been hung as a traitor along with many others. Times were challenging then as they are today. For when the Revolutionary war ended 400 armed war veterans circled the make-shift congressional building demanding their unpaid back wages. They actually held the congressman in there hostage. So as is expected the congressman agreed and were forced to approve a payment plan, sounds a lot like stuff we see going on today. However they had no funds to make the plan work, never mind they came up with a stimulus plan anyway after all they were still politicians. Then it appears, the thirteen newly formed States turned on each other as a spirit of accusation came in. Basically they were saying in essence to each other, “This is all your fault, this is a fine mess you made of things, because back in Egypt, I mean England at lest we had something to eat, blah blah. How odd that people so often do not want to take responsibility for the part they played. After all the Lord tells us in 1 John 1:9,”If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” So you had all these different States, but they were certainly not united. They did not come together straightway in one accord and pray as the ought to have done. New Jersey came up with its own services for its people. Leaders in New York negotiated its own foreign treaties. Nine of the thirteen states acted like independent counties. At lest seven states printed their own currency which was only usable within their borders. Still other states passed tariff laws against the other states. And yet somehow these new colonies, these people with a dream to be free, this collections of rag tag war-weary Americans somehow came together, laid down their differences and became one nation. A nation that wanted to be ruled by laws of democracy to safeguard the rights of its citizens. Having the right to worship the Lord Jesus as the Bible instructs us to do. The right to speak boldly about the things of God as a Christian nation founded by those early Puritan’s we now call Pilgrims.

Let us pray that dream does not come to an end and we do not wake up back in Egypt. Nudge, nudge say no more….

The Lord Jesus/Yeshua still works mighty miracles. We still have very much to be thankful for with every breath we take. We also know the Lord our God shall take care of His children.

Philippians 4:19,”But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

This present world has yet to see what the Lord will do for those who are fully dedicated and completely submitted to Christ. If you do not believe the Lord will do something for you, you shall have it according to your faith. If you can believe that nothing is really impossible to the Lord you will have whatsoever you ask in His name. There are no more excuses, as we know the truth and the truth will make us free.

Mark 11:24,” Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

All things are possible with God! I pray the Lord’s supernatural peace, healing, provision and protection cover you always with oceans of agape love in the almighty name of Jesus/Yeshua! PASTOR CASPAR
