Considering Unlikely People

21 May

Without question Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Messiah Yeshua is the most controversial person in all of history. Considering how things are unfolding on the world stage I think we need to make certain we are well grounded in the Holy Word of God. Jesus’ life on earth begins with the his controversial virgin birth and then thirty three years later he is crucified and dies on that Roman cross only to fulfill the Holy Scriptures by being resurrected 3 days later. One of the unique prophesies of the coming Messiah given in Isaiah would be that he would open the eyes of the blind, meaning those who were born blind from birth. No one in all of history ever did that before Jesus/Yeshua appeared. (See John 9)

Now just consider this, the Lord Jesus/Yeshua took some of the most unlikely people in this world and did absolutely great things through them. He even made disciples out of some smelly  uneducated fisherman who he then empowered and commissioned to go heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons and cleanse the lepers. Soon after this Jesus sent out the 70 disciples to do likewise and then he sent the rest of us in every preceding generation. When the disciples said to the Lord Jesus after seeing the multitude of crowds of people who followed them into the desert, “send these people away into the villages so they can find something to eat”. Seeing how there were no restaurants in the wilderness areas they had come to. The Lord Jesus turned to his disciples and said,” you feed them” and his disciples couldn’t quite understand how to do that having hardly any provisions to feed such a great crowd with. They ask how can we feed the crowd when all we have is five loaves of bread and two fishes? The Lord Jesus then performed a miracle and multiplied that offering of five loaves of bread and two fishes and all those 5000 men in the wilderness ate cooked fish and bread and that included all the women and children there so there were perhaps many more people then just 5000 men in attendance.  All those people miraculously ate until they were all filled with what started with only five loaves of bread, and two fishes. Then the disciples even collected 12 baskets filled up with leftovers. Jesus also had compassion on everyone there who followed him into the desert and he healed everyone who was sick. (Matthew 14:13-21)

Later Jesus healed that paralyzed man and commanded him “Take up your bed and walk”, and then Jesus ruined a perfectly good funeral of that widow whose only son had died and commanded the corpse of that young man to come back to life, presenting him alive to his mother again. (Luke 7:11-17) The Lord Jesus told his friend who was entombed 4 days in that grave, “Lazarus, come forth and Lazarus spirit obeyed and reentered his body. No one ever did the things Jesus did before. They all did just what Jesus said to do. How about us today are we willing to do what Jesus asks us to do?

Jesus told Peter to come when Jesus came walking on the water and Peter also walked on water. It appears to me that Jesus commands the impossible and then makes it possible, because all things are possible with him. He is the same yesterday today and forever. That’s why we as true disciples cannot lose. Again I remind you of Romans 14:8,” For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.”
I do not know what you may be dealing with today, but I know my Lord Jesus still performs miracles and wants to heal, restore, use and bless you today and always as you align yourself with Christ in all things.
Mark 11:24, “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

You can be eternally lost unless you confess and repent of all your sins and receive the precious cleansing that the blood of Jesus/Yeshua who is now providing this offer for a limited time as our High Priest and intercessor. Keeping in mind 1st John 1: 9,”If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”

Fight back overcomers, trust Papa God for every detail and stay in faith! Jesus said in Luke 21:15, “For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.’ I say hallelujah! Because “All”, things are possible with God! I pray the Lord’s supernatural peace, healing, provision and protection cover you always with oceans of agape love in the almighty name of Jesus/Yeshua!
