Let us consider that at the beginning of John chapter 5, it points out that the Pool of Bethesda was a well-known place of healing and that at a certain times an angel would come down from Heaven and “trouble” or “stir up” the water of the pool. After that happened the first person who got in the water would receive a healing miracle of whatever they needed being healed of. So any and all diseases and sickness disappeared off them in an astonishing supernatural way. Praise be to God. Many scholars seem to believe that when this occurred it was during the Passover Season, which when you think this through would line up with the Biblical doctrine of Healing in the Atonement.
Leviticus 17:11,” For the life of the flesh [is] in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it [is] the blood [that] maketh an atonement for the soul.”
1 Peter 2:24,” Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”
So straightway this suggest that Papa God did not determine in the traditional sense who got healed, when they got healed or of what they got healed from. Since the Lord is no respecter of persons, (Romans 2:11) and that he loves all of his creation, so everyone is a candidate to receive blessings. But clearly this is a form of freedom of choice from our side, again operating in faith,” be it done unto you”. Besides healing is already paid for in the Atonement.
Hebrews 9:12,”Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption [for us].
1 John 2:2,” And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for [the sins of] the whole world.”
This also seems to suggest Papa God does not dictate the time of a person’s healing, for today is the day of Salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2) and Salvation includes healing. So when you hear someone say or suggest it is just not God’s timing for you or someone to be healed you will know better.
Let us recall how Mother Mary turns to her son Jesus/Yeshua and says,” they have no wine,” (John 2) and Jesus says,” why do you involve me my hour has not yet come”. Well Jesus only did and does what He sees the Father doing. So our Heavenly Father must have said something like,” Sorry it’s not your time yet,” then Mary acting in faith says, “do whatever he tells you,” to the servants and her great faith must have moved the hand of God in the recorded miracle that followed. Because suddenly Papa God tells Jesus the very next moment,” go ahead it is your time after all”. And Jesus turns water into wine. So there goes the “It’s not God’s timing” doctrine we so often hear about.
This account also suggests that Papa God did not determine that some people should keep their sickness and diseases until they had “learned something”! There goes the “I’m sick because God’s trying to teach me a lesson or something” doctrine. This also suggests that Papa God does not will some to be healed and for others to stay sick. There goes the “It’s not God’s will to heal everybody” doctrine. Please also take notice that there is no mention of repentance from sin in these verses in John 5. Yes repentance is vitally important and any good minister or child of God should tell you so. That you should go and sin no more least a worse thing come on you also plays a major factor. But how interesting here to see that Jesus/Yeshua healed without first getting the man to repent.
This story again suggests that Jesus Christ of Nazareth is our total freedom from all sickness and disease. He is the Passover Lamb. He is our atonement. People have even been healed simply taking communion, as they mediate on what it really means. Listen no matter what you are going through at the moment what is really important here is the report of the Lord for your life and the life to come.
Psalm 118:17,” I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.”
You must keep guarding your heart and not forget who you are in Christ, who lives in you now as a true believer. That you stay the course, stay on the narrow path and stay under the Lord’s divine protection. So here is the thing, if you got a stain on your clothes how do you get it out? Do you soak it in a solution that removes stains?
2 Corinthians 7:1,” Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”
Meaning our spirit can get dirty like our flesh does. The reason we need to keep washing our minds daily with the almighty Word of God.
Ephesians 5:26,” That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,”
We are given a wonderful insight with Proverbs 26:2,”As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.”
In other words the devil needs a legal right to hinder your destiny in Christ, un-repented sin gives demons that right to inflict all manner of troubles, (curses) in your life. (See Deuteronomy 28, about blessings and curses)
When we experience being, offended and wounded it is like our souls take on stains that come from these experiences. If you had a serious stain on your clothes that wasn’t come off easily you probably do more then just put a wee bit of soap and water on that stain and scrub it out. You might in fact thoroughly soak your entire garment to help get the stain out. If you don’t get the stain out you will be walking about with a stain everyone can see on you. I believe it is rather similar with stains on your soul.
If you don’t thoroughly soak and immerse yourself in the presence of the Lord Jesus/Yeshua and forgive all who offended you, including yourself how shall you be washed clean by the all powerful Blood of the Lamb of God?
Any stains on your clothes basically effects the whole outfit just as any stains on your soul will ultimately effect every area of your life.
You shall receive supernatural miracles by spending time in prayer and worship before the Lord Jesus/Yeshua. When you enter and get into the place of true worship all things are possible as you are believing the Lord at His Word and also acting on it.
Trusting the Lord Jesus/Yeshua for every detail of your life allows the Holy Spirit to be involved in every area of your life.
So you keep pressing in my friend and believe for the breakthrough you are in need of.
Revelation 5:9,”And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;”
