Souls Restored

21 Nov

We have all met numerous people over the years who will not accept an invitation to come to church or even read a tract you might give them. However they will most often listen to someone whom walks in Christ’s love they feel respects them, even if they clearly do not agree with your perspective. Share Christ’s love anyway and blessed them any way you are able. After all the Lord Jesus told us in John 4:35,”Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” As I look back retrospectively there have been a numbers of times I have prayed and ministered to an unbeliever who needed healing and restoration. I have moved in the supernatural confidence of the Holy Spirit that my faith shall trump their unbelief. Many were healed and came face to face with the awesome love and almighty power of the Lord Jesus. Some were soon converted when they realised the Gospel is absolutely true. Scripture instructs us that there is always someone who is ready to get saved. Even if you witness to people who seem disinterested, you have still sown a seed of truth in their hearts knowing that the Holy Spirit is orchestrating all things together to lead them closer to accepting salvation. For we read in 2 Peter 3:9,” The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”Eventually, some spirit-filled born again true believer who is a soul-winner will have the joyous opportunity to help win that person to Christ as Saviour. After all the Lord Jesus/Yeshua said in, John 4:37,” And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.”The fact is you are never wasting your time witnessing and sharing your testimony to this fallen world as we are watching the end time prophesies fulfilled. Only Papa God knows the countless number of sinners that shall be saved from the wrath to come.
The Lord Jesus/Yeshua said in John 10:27,” My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” Fight back overcomers, trust Papa God for every detail and stay in faith! Jesus said in Luke 21:15, “For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.’ I say hallelujah! Because “All”, things are possible with God! I pray the Lord’s supernatural peace, healing, provision and protection cover you always with oceans of agape love in the almighty name of Jesus/Yeshua!

Hell For Just One Minute

19 Nov

If everyone could be suspended over Hell for just one minute, there would be probably be no need left to preach the Gospel, as straightaway everyone including progressives, atheist and agnostics would desire to become a true born again spirit-filled Christian and become the Gospel. We read in 1 Corinthians 9:14,“Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.”
Could a day be happening before us and is even now, when churches become filled with people overflowing who remain lost in sins and stay confused because the pastors preach anything, and everything except… Christ crucified and resurrected? Considering that without repentance there is no forgiveness of sin.
We read in Luke 24:47,” And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”
Yes, the Lord Jesus/Yeshua’s words to Papa God asking for the forgiveness of those who persecuted him and nailed him to that cross is our example to follow.
Yes, they did not know they were killing the only begotten Son of God, and so could not understand the vast implications of what they were doing. The crucifixion was not the tragedy most believe it to be, rather it was a orchestrated achievement to bring you freedom. As the Old Testament concealed what the New Testament revealed. For we see in Matthew 27:54,” Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.” Yes, the Holy Word got out and there is no stopping the Gospel truth now. The devil was totally defeated at the cross. 1 Corinthians 2:8,” Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.”
If God forgave them, so ought all the true believers now…even those who have been made victims since and who have suffered greatly forgive all those offenders as well. For even though they which have manifested such evil have done absolutely nothing to deserve forgiveness, we have done nothing to deserve salvation.
Keeping in mind that as soon as you forgive all others you enter into a place of holiness before the Lord. It doesn’t take the offender of the hook, it takes you off. They will still need to give an account before the Lord Jesus. 2 Corinthians 5:10,”For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” So be good and bless others and live a life that is glorifying to Christ.
Keep looking up.
Church Steeple Chaser’s

18 Oct

The greatest decision you ever made with eternal consequences was accepting the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Messiah Yeshua as your personal saviour. The moment you were born again and saved you also accepted Christ as your Lord of Lord’s and King of King’s, your commander and chief.
He even sent the Holy Spirit to help guide you with every step you take everywhere you go.
One of the greatest decisions of your life after this momentous experience is front and centre upon what church you join in with. We read in Hebrews 10:25,” Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

This will be where you assemble weekly to receive the teaching of God’s Holy Word, that you continually grow in the knowledge of Gospel truth in His mercy, grace and love.
A place to gather corporately that you are blessed through the family of the Lord that you and your entire family may be fully engaged by the leading of the Holy Spirit. A place where ordinary believers come together to experience a time of worship, discipleship and missions, with signs and wonders following you as you follow after Christ.
We read in Ephesians 4:11,” And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:”
In other words all Christians are to be ambassadors of Christ, sharing his love with all you encounter. (2 Corinthians 5:20) and yes the Lord still provides apostles and prophets as they are listed here in the same sentence.

Joining with a church fellowship of true believers is no small decision, especially today in finding others who believe and embrace the almighty Word of God cover to cover.

As a pastor who travels periodically to minister with groups like Hear the Watchmen and Prophesy Watchers, over the years I have come across a number of people at conferences who asks the same sort of questions. Others who have seen me in some interviews have contacted us to inquire where they can find a church like ours to attend? Most all of them have told me similar tales of how they stop attending church because they basically they can’t find the perfect church.
Sometimes I tell them, “if you do find the perfect church I pray you realise as soon as you join them it will cease to be perfect.” Because there is only one who is perfect that being Christ our Lord!

Maybe this something you can relate to, maybe your unhappy with your church in your community, what should you do?
Let me begin by addressing the fact that not attending is not a viable option.
If you’re not presently attending a church and have found yourself murmuring and complaining about it, basically feeling discouraged and disgruntled with your present church community, due to the fact that things are exactly perfect, let me simply tell you that have entered into a very dangerous place.

The Lord our God calls us to travel a narrow pathway of holiness with him. Matthew 7:14,” Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” However, the Lord our God never intended His people to journey to the Celestial City of Glory alone.

Yes this journey appears somewhat long and winding, and it can actually even be treacherous at times, nevertheless God’s plan for each of us has always been about reconciliation, and that involves belonging to his church. We simply need one another for encouragement, friendship, partnership, and accountability.

Consider carefully the words in Hebrews 10:23,”Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

The day approaching is the Blessed Hope.
Titus 2:13,”Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.”
Is it possible the Lord may have chosen you to help stir up your church to love and good works? However, if you’re not in regular attendance with the church, how can you encourage your church?
The Lord Jesus/Yeshua even tells us if your not gathering with him your doing the opposite and scattering. Matthew 12:30,”He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.”

If you’re not helping with the gathering together with your church family, encouraging others who are un-churched or de-churched to join you for the purpose of worship and service in ministry, what is it your doing?

The church is to come together in one accord to gather together weekly for worship and service, and to regularly participate together at the Lord’s Table remembering the sacrificial death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus/Yeshua.
Let us consider this because nonattendance was not an option for the early church therefore, it shouldn’t be an option for today’s modern church.

Maybe its not just about what you need as much as what the Lord needs of you.

How many times have people attended a church for a while and even made verbal commitments to help with something like singing with the praise team or being a greeter only to not show up for the task? Some will call in to work or school if they can’t make it in, and yet how many people will just not show up? Or how about those who repeatedly come late to church, would they show up late for work or school?
We read in Matthew 5:37,”But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.”

Where are those who are willing to work to help advance the Kingdom of God by helping to pray, interceded and help make the church a better place for all? Perhaps that’s a major reason so many people do the church steeple chase in our generation, and sadly they will stay unhappy on the chase because their searching for the perfect church, or for one they can help control.

For example, in ministry how often have pastors heard from a husband or wife who is unhappy with their spouse because it turns out they are consistently looking at other marriages and comparing them as they search for the ideal marriage. In other words perhaps if you stopped shopping around made a serious commitment where you become focused on your local church things may just suddenly improve.

When people tell me what sort of church they are looking for often its not based on biblical standards from the Holy Spirits. Instead of asking what can I do to help the church, how can I best serve the Lord my God, many people are asking what can the church do to help me?
Instead of having Christ be the centre they are focused on themselves.

If you want a church where it is relevant, what are you doing to be part of the solution?
Before leaving your church fellowship and looking for a better church, have you considered working to improve the deficiencies within your local church? Have you considered maybe the Lord has you in this church for His purposes?
Anyone can sit on the sidelines and entertain a critical spirit, but the Lord is looking for true disciples, not pew sitters.

Let’s face it, the church today needs us and the Lord deserves much more and better results from us all who are willing to be in engaged with the gifts of Holy Spirit and to enter the spiritual daily battles. We often describe the church through analogies of these human body’s our holy temples, like some of you are the hands and feet of the Lord’s body. Some of you are the neck who tries to turn the head etc. Clearly if all the members were pulling their weight in the church today we wouldn’t have many of the issues facing us in this generation as the early church had. Probably because we be operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit in a regular basis without a doubt.

John 13:34,” A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.”

The Lord means what he said and he said what he means. We are called to love and help serve each other. Philippians 2:3,”Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.”

Maybe it is time you commit to getting along with those other church members and learn to encourage others instead of complaining about them, or they way they look, dress or act.
We are actually called to go beyond even liking one another,  and to serve with one another, to help promote unity in all the churches of the Lord. So many desire to go on a missions trip to some far away exotic place when there is a mission trip here in your own backyard.
Let us live a life that is glorifying to God at all times. If your a child of God act like one and stop your carelessly acts, and think of others more then yourself.

Of course there are times when it’s become necessary to leave a church, just as how some marriages fail, or people are relocated to another city or town.
Still pray and seek the Lord, and before making any decision consider talking things over with your church leaders.
Always evaluate your desires and motives through a biblical perspective before you make any decisions, keeping in mind your not just effecting your path but those round you. In the film Its a Wonderful Life, shown at Christmas time, the story revolves around the character George Bailey who has some terrible misfortune where he loses the rent money. At some point he is so discourage with all his many problems that come as a result of losing the money, a spirit of suicide tries to get him to end it all by jumping off a bridge. Taking a permanent solution to a temporary problem. I personally don’t care for the rather un-biblical way the film represents angels, however it is a powerful story where the angel show Mr. Bailey what his town be like had he not lived.

I have seen people simply leave a church fellowship without a word to anyone, or some who leave for the wrong reasons. How we grieve the Holy Spirit at times not understanding, perishing from lack of knowledge.
Maybe this was a reason we read and Jesus wept. (John 11:35)
I dare say one should never leave a church out of emotion, anger, or silly petty complaints.
If your church is preaching the Gospel, then be a team player. If your church is entertaining you with feel good messages and puppet shows, this would be an indicator you need to find a true remnant church body to belong to. By the way there is no seeker friendly messages to be found anywhere in all of Scripture.

Let us proceed as serious true believers. Let us hold each other accountable and stop playing church and become the church.

I once attended a church for several years where I had to drive 3 hours each way, because this is where the Lord had placed me.

Why go to church? Let me share this one last story with you?
One Sunday morning, a wife went in to wake her sleeping husband and tell him it was time to get ready for church, to which he replied, “I’m not going.”
“Why not?” she asked.
I’ll give you two good reasons,” he said. “(1), I don’t feel like they like me, and (2), I’m starting to not like them.”
The wife replied, “I’ll give you two good reasons why you SHOULD go to church: (1) The Lord commanded we not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, , and (2) you’re the pastor!”

Seriously if you draw close to God he comes running to meet you.

James 4:8,”Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”
Our God has not given us another option in place of the local assembly of the saints, you need to be plugged in somewhere, just as you need to plug in your electric appliances to work.

If you need to get up and drive to the next town to attend church with other true believers simply do as the Lord directs you. If you can’t drive that far consider moving near the church. Yes, moving to be closer to your church may prove to be the best decision for you and your family in the long run.
God is not looking for good steeple chasers, rather he is looking for faithful and dedicated true disciples.

John 14:12,” Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
Fight back overcomers, trust Papa God for every detail and stay in faith! Because “All”, things are possible with God! I pray the Lord’s supernatural peace, healing, provision and protection cover you always with oceans of agape love in the almighty name of Jesus/Yeshua!

Caspar McCloud’s “Revelation Rocker” Review

From Strawberry Studios to Streets of Gold

by Joshua Warren

20180429

Caspar McCloud is back!

Truth be told, he has never left us. Since 2014, Caspar has been busy both in the studio and outside of it, releasing four singles and four full albums of high-quality material, all this while preaching and performing live around the world with the likes of the legendary Phil Keaggy.

Yet it doesn’t even end there!

Somehow, somewhere in between all those impressive projects, he managed to carve out time to write some interesting books (namely, his autobiography “Nothing Is Impossible”, “Unmasking The Future”, “What Was I Thinking?” and “Spiritual Encounters With The Shroud”) and to continue to develop as an equestrian portrait painter with his work even being placed in the collection of Royalty.

However, music listeners unfamiliar with his work shouldn’t think that Caspar is new to the music industry. As recounted in his biography, “Nothing Is Impossible”, Caspar’s guitar virtuosity has not gone unnoticed. He was once handpicked to portray John Lennon in the Broadway production of “Beatlemania” back in 1977, but left before allowing it to cast too long a shadow over his career. Once back in the U.K., Caspar landed in 10cc’s Strawberry Studios Manchester where he recorded and released “Messin’ Around” on Rocksteady Records (“Caspar”, 1979), now a sought-after collector’s item.

Caspar continued working in the business with releases on Atlantic — “Self-Portrait” in 1978 and “Talk To Me” in 1983. Apart from his British / Beatle-esque pop vocals and masterful handling of the guitar, none of those previous releases gave any indication as to where Caspar would eventually end up on his musical or spiritual journey. (Details of the incredible events surrounding his conversion to being a born-again Christian are recounted in detail in his previously mentioned biography.)

Fast-forward to 2018.

Through the caring, capable hands and ears of producer and drummer Michael Angel, Caspar’s latest effort, “Revelation Rocker” brings listeners pristine McCloud. Both the music and the vocals are in-your-face from the first track to the last.

The first track, “Wheat and Tares”, wastes no time getting things started. After a quick drum fill, listeners are thrown right into the first verse and the track refuses to let up. The unorthodox drum pattern keeps things tight and interesting on the rhythm end. A short-but-delightful musical treat in the form of a gnarling guitar solo awaits listeners near the end.

As soon as you catch your breath, “Let Them See We are Christians” ramps up. This track has Caspar wearing his pastor’s hat (Did I mention he was a pastor too?), reminding Christian listeners that the world will know they are genuine followers of Jesus by how they treat each other. Listeners are compelled to love over and between some heavy guitar riffs and pounding drum and bass.

The next track, “Jesus Wins”, is the truly stand-out track of the lot. Yes, Christian rockers now have a new Gospel rock anthem. We are welcomed into this classic rock shindig via an intricate interplay between the drums and Caspar’s blaring guitar with a riff that sounds like one of the best lost riffs in rock music history. The lyrics are direct and without compromise, as are those of every track on the album: “The Devil loses and Jesus wins!”

Other noteworthy tracks include: “Pictures of Jesus” with its lush, beautiful chorus over a wonderful rock riff; “Push Back” with its heavy timbre wrapped around an unusual chord progression with a pounding, catchy chorus; two beautiful instrumentals, “Camelot Cliffs” and “Escape In Em”, that are like delightful rather than dystopian prog-rock tracks; a wonderful acoustic version of “Jesus Be Glorified” (first featured on “Dead Men Like Me are Just Happy to be Alive”); “Nimrod’s Head” acts as a musical overview of what some may consider “fringe topics” and their potential relationship to biblical prophecy; “Speak to the Mountains” works as a musical canvas to display a beautiful guitar solo; Caspar even goes acapella on “If I Had My Guitar”.

Every single Caspar McCloud album showcases the impeccable skill of this truly underrated guitarist. Even with that understanding, this album has brought an expanded, more full-bodied auditory lift to Caspar’s catalog. While his recent productions have been very fine (2014’s “Dead Men Like Me Are Just Happy to Be Alive” and “Communion” from 2016), this release brings us even more improved sonics and vocals and, I dare say, performances. We are treated throughout the album with thick harmonies, more wonderful, varied guitar tones, tight, highly-developed guitar riffs, and thumping bass (that’s Caspar on bass). The vocal performance on this release in particular is one of Caspar’s best to date.

“Revelation Rocker” works well to prove that Caspar’s virtuosity is more faithfully brought to us, the music listening public, when in the hands of fine producers like Michael Angel. There are layers and layers of music and vocals there for listeners to hear in repeated listenings.

To this point, I think neither Caspar McCloud’s skill nor body of work has yet to get the attention they both deserve. With its soaring, incredible guitars, its classic rock-tinged sound, and its tight harmonies sprinkled throughout, this album might very well reignite a Christian rock revival in the meantime. At the very least, it proves that Caspar McCloud is a Christian AND musical force to be reckoned with.

Full disclosure: I was given a copy of the album for review purposes. I tried as best I could to be as impartial and honest as possible.

Robert Cleaver Chapman tried his best to be forgotten

30 Jan

Article by

Jon Bloom

Staff writer, desiringGod.org

Robert Cleaver Chapman tried his best to be forgotten, but God intervened on our behalf.

An unusually humble man, Chapman would have been pleased if you haven’t heard of him — and most Christians haven’t. And he would have likely protested my drawing your attention to him here. But I’m doing it anyway because I know you’ll be the richer for knowing him. And I doubt he minds now, having lived in heaven for nearly 120 years.

You might be surprised to know that he was one of the most influential Christians in 19th-century England. Many prominent English leaders of that era whose names you do know, like Charles Spurgeon, J.C. Ryle, Hudson Taylor, George Müller, even Prime Minister Gladstone, knew, loved, and revered Robert Chapman, and sought his counsel. Why?

He became legendary in his own time for his gracious ways, his patience, his kindness, his balanced judgment, his ability to reconcile people in conflict, his absolute fidelity to Scripture, and his loving pastoral care. (Agape Leadership)

In short, it was the beautiful and (sadly) rare way Chapman loved others that made it crystal clear to everyone whose disciple he was (John 13:35). Spurgeon called him “the saintliest man I ever knew.”

From Birth to Barnstaple

Robert was born in 1803, to Thomas and Ann Chapman. It was clear early on that he was very bright. At age fifteen, he left home to apprentice as a lawyer in London. He excelled in his apprenticeship and by age twenty became an attorney of the Court of Common Pleas and of the Court of the King’s Bench. A couple years later he started his own law practice. Experienced lawyers saw a promising professional future for Robert.

But during his apprenticeship he also experienced a growing spiritual hunger. An older Christian lawyer befriended Robert and invited him to John Street Chapel, where, under the evangelical preaching of Harington Evans, the twenty-year-old Chapman understood the gospel and was converted.

Over the next few years, Chapman became increasingly involved in the ministry of John Street Chapel and Evans mentored him in preaching. But as his interest in studying the Bible and participating in gospel outreach increased, his interest in law decreased.

Finally, at age twenty-nine, Chapman gave up law altogether and agreed to become the pastor of a little Baptist church called Ebenezer Chapel in Barnstaple, a town of about seven thousand in the southwest of England. He would minister there for the next seventy years.

Agape Leader

Before becoming a pastor, Chapman had resolved to not merely preach Christ, but to live Christ. And when he stepped into pastoral leadership at Ebenezer Chapel, he had ample opportunity to exercise his resolve.

Ebenezer had so many internal conflicts that it had burned through three pastors in the eighteen months before Chapman arrived. Not only that, but some of Chapman’s theological convictions differed significantly from the church’s. The situation was ripe for another short pastorate, but that didn’t happen. Why?

Because Chapman really believed in the power of and practiced prevailing prayer. And he had supreme confidence in the power of the word faithfully and prayerfully preached to transform people. And he determined to be doggedly patient and tender with the people. Rather than exacerbate tensions by trying to push through theological and structural changes quickly, even ones he felt strongly about, Chapman committed them to prayer, faithfully preached and taught the Bible, and extended to the people tenacious, persevering love. Eventually, most people in the church embraced what Chapman taught and modeled.

Division in the Church

But not everyone did, which provided Chapman a very different opportunity to live Christ in an even more profound way.

Two years into his ministry, despite doing all he could to prevent it, a small group of Ebenezer members split off to form their own church. Not only that, but this group demanded that the rest of the church move out of the building, since they saw themselves as the faithful remnant of the church’s original convictions. In response to this, Chapman did something unusual: he led the rest of the saints at Ebenezer (the majority group) to relinquishing the building to the splinter group. He believed it was better to be wronged than to have Christ’s name put to shame in the town because of infighting over property. The Ebenezer saints made due for a few years until they were able to build what later became known as the Grosvenor Street Chapel.

But this turned out not to be exceptional for Chapman. He practiced this kind of love at all levels, great and small. He frequently gave needy people he met the literal coat off his back. Or he’d give away the last bit of money he had, even if it was his train fare home from some place. This happened with some regularity, and when it did, Chapman would board the train and simply ask the Lord to provide his fare, which he always did. The frequent guests who stayed overnight at his home always found their shoes cleaned and set outside their doors in the morning. And since many of the folks who attended his church were domestic workers who had precise work start times, he sought to always begin and end meetings on time.

As you can imagine, Chapman’s consistent, godly agape leadership over the course of decades fostered a culture of love in the church he led. And its effects lasted beyond his life. A generation later, the church resulting from the small splinter group ended up revering Chapman. And the Grosvenor Churchremains a thriving, evangelical witness for Christ in Barnstaple to this day.

Blessed Peacemaker

Chapman became renown for the gracious and tender way he treated people. But that didn’t mean he wasn’t tough. He stood firm on his settled biblical convictions, and once said to a friend, “My business is to love others, not to seek that others shall love me.” But, since he was so consistently patient and kind, even in disagreement, others tended to love him.

A man strong in the Scriptures, full of wisdom, and deeply concerned that Jesus’s church not veer into unfaithfulness, Chapman was drawn into numerous theological controversies and conflicts between church leaders. He really did grieve over the damage that leaders’ pride and impatience caused in the body of Christ. He rigorously practiced, and encouraged others to practice, Paul’s admonition that “the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness” (2 Timothy 2:24–25).

In cases where people became angry with Chapman and withdrew from him, he always pursued them, doing everything he could to be at peace with them (Romans 12:18). And as long as the tension and distance remained,

Chapman referred to them as “brethren dearly beloved and longed for” (Philippians 4:1). His sorrow was genuine. There was no sense of “good riddance” on his part. He had no sense of relief to be done with those who . . . opposed him and would have no further Christian fellowship with him. These were his “brethren whose consciences lead them to refuse my fellowship and to deprive me of theirs.” (Robert Chapman: Apostle of Love)

Apostle of Love

From the time of his arrival in Barnstaple till the end of his life, because of his deep love and concern over people’s souls, Chapman was a relentless evangelist.

He talked with people on the streets and at their houses or rooms. He frequently held gospel meetings in the workhouses and talked individually with the homeless and destitute inmates. . . . He began open-air preaching . . . and became quite good at it. (Robert Chapman: Apostle of Love)

Many came to Christ due to Chapman’s personal witness.

He also carried the unreached nations heavy on his heart, and he interceded daily for them. He had a particular burden for Spain. He taught himself Spanish and took three different extended trips, walking the length and breadth of the country for months at a time to personally evangelize lost Spanish people and to encourage the few Christians there. He also spent time in Ireland doing the same thing.

Chapman developed a friendship with Hudson Taylor and was an enthusiastic intercessor, financial supporter, and U.K. representative for the China Inland Mission. And he loved George Müller and his orphan work in Bristol. Müller considered Chapman one of his most trusted counselors.

Chapman never married. But his home was rarely lonely because he made it into a place of refuge and refreshment for weary and discouraged Christian workers. Many pastors and missionaries were profoundly encouraged by spending time with and receiving counsel from this godly, gentle saint.

Example Worth Examining

Robert Chapman had a long and fruitful ministry — he lived to be 99 years old and left no blemish of moral failure. He preached his final sermon at Grosvenor Street Chapel when he was 98 (and went an hour and a quarter!). He was spiritually, mentally, and physically healthy and vigorous right up to the end — evangelizing, visiting, counseling, teaching, and especially interceding. Then on June 2, 1902, he suffered a stroke, which led to his death ten days later, on June 12th.

One of the reasons we haven’t heard more about Robert Chapman is that he sought to remain anonymous. He was disturbed by the phenomenon of Christian celebrity in his day and didn’t want people thinking more highly of him than they ought to think. He discouraged most efforts to publish his sermons and other writings, and even burned most of his personal papers to discourage the tendency he saw for people to turn leaders into posthumous heroes. Because, as he once said, “What is most precious in the sight of God is often least noticed by men” (Agape Leadership).

Robert Chapman didn’t want people to look at him; he wanted them to look at Jesus Christ. He didn’t want to distract others from Christ. And, of course, he was right about this: no one surpasses Jesus as a model of loving leadership. No one has shown greater love (John 15:13). More than anyone else, we need to keep “looking to Jesus” (Hebrews 12:2).

But I do think Robert Chapman is worth examining, and I wish he hadn’t destroyed his papers. I’m thankful for Robert Peterson and Alexander Strauch, who have compiled most of what is available about Chapman into helpful biographies. For Jesus said, “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35). And Chapman took that “if” very seriously. He lived that verse.

We need as many models of such love as possible.

Thinking With The Lord

6 Sep

Whatever you do, make certain you line it up with the Word of God.
Casting down imaginations from the enemy is one of the first things we are suppose to do as true disciples of Christ. For we read in 2 Corinthians 10:5,”Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;’

This means the battle in your thought life is your first line of defense, as it also effects your entire immune system and your life. For example, your thoughts will activate your lymphocytes, the antibodies, and all the rather complex systems the Lord designed you with that allows your body to become immune to certain invaders. Like defending you against pathogens to cast them out of your body. Pathogens are basically disease-causing agents, we might go as far as to say the are connected with unclean spirits. A variety of microorganisms can cause disease. Pathogenic organisms are often classified in five main types: viruses, bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and worms.  In other words any type of invisible bacterium, virus, or microorganism that can cause disease, including the ones any lucifrian type scientist help design from deep underground laboratories within the shadow governments.  See Deuteronomy 28, which explains about blessings and curses, and any new diseases that are unleashed on this fallen world.  Deuteronomy 28:61,” Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.”

We must understand the strategies of the enemy so we can defeat him and his entire demon army and gain the victories. Let me say it this way, you are not likely to resurrect the dead or heal any sick persons in the all powerful name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth if you have received the devils poisonous and defeated imaginations for you. The Lord Jesus said in John 14:12,“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

As a pastor I have observed how some people have gotten a wee bit mad when I preach/teach on this and will even suggest I am taking it out of context. Very well, our Holy Guide Book to the Supernatural tells us in Matthew 10:7-8 to go and raise the dead, heal the sick and cast out devils. Mark 16 instructs to do this as well.

We read in 1 Corinthians 2:16,”For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” If we have the mind of the Lord we should be moving in the supernatural with him.  Sharing Christ’s love, healing the sick and casting out demons in the almighty name of Jesus/Yeshua.

So whatever imagination you take in and believe, that is going to dictate the results that you are going to get seemingly.  Mark 11:24 ,” Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

Those people who get confused about about the Lord still healing and doing miracles today also seem to me that they just do not want to take any real responsibility for what happens in their life. The Holy Scriptures also says the curse can not come without a cause. Proverbs 26:2,”As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.”
In John 8:32 the Lord Jesus tells us “the truth will make you free,” but I reckon first it might make you a wee bit mad.

Sometimes Papa God may speak to us through dreams or visions or through a prophet or donkey, however, He will always speak to us through His Holy written Word. But it appears today many Christian do not actually know their Bible very well do they? They rather read books about it or have some modern translation that obscures the truth. So they simply do not understand what the Lord has imagined for them.

James 1:19,” Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”

Caspar McCloud Releases First Acoustic Worship Album “Pictures Of Jesus”

Caspar McCloud shares his meaningful, original music in his first acoustic album

Caspar McCloud, virtuoso guitarist and vocalist, has just released his first acoustic album, unveiling to the world what close friends, church members, and conference attendee’s have previously only been able to enjoy in person.

Caspar’s album, titled Pictures of Jesus – Acoustic Worship, features 14 originals, with heartfelt, thoughtfully rendered lyrics and acoustic guitar. The vocals show the strength, maturity and gentle power of his emotions from song to song. The album tastefully features numerous shining examples of Caspar’s unmatched guitar solo abilities woven throughout every track; the care, attention, and composition all prevail as a display of musicianship that comes only from a seasoned professional.

Caspar’s recording career goes back to earlier days as a signed Atlantic Records recording artist, through many years of album releases in his name and with his band Ministry of Three.

Pictures of Jesus – Acoustic Worship provides the listener with the first opportunity to hear the simple, refined nature of his talent without the amplifiers and larger-than-life band elements of past releases. This is a rare glimpse into genius in its most exposed, direct, and masterfully polished form.

“The past several years I have been asked to speak and play at a number of conferences, events and churches…” Caspar shares.

“Playing without my band meant singing my songs playing my acoustic guitar whilst exploring new realms of possibilities without other musicians. Ludwig van Beethoven was once quoted as saying ‘The guitar is a miniature orchestra in itself.’

Over the last few years numerous people, including my good friend Trey Smith (God in A Nutshell) have greatly encouraged me by asking when will there be a recording of these acoustic songs you have played for us?

My long time friend and fellow artist, musician, erudite theologian, and software inventor Michael Angel took on the task of producing my first all acoustic album which shall be released in a few days time.”

Pictures of Jesus – Acoustic Worship is available through all major online distributors . It can be purchased on CD or for immediate download at: https://store.cdbaby.com/cd/casparmccloud

Your Best Life Now

28 Aug

Your Best Life Now?

Yes, your best life now is actually written about in the Hoy Scriptures, we find this in the account of the rich man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31). The rich man enjoyed his best life living in the “now” on earth and ended up in a place of great torment. Lazarus on the other hand was seeking the Kingdom of God and ended up in place of paradise. Nudge, nudge say no more….

Having just returned from ministering at the Hear the Watchmen conference in Boise Idaho, I was amazed at the way the Lord orchestrated all of us speakers. It seems we all brought bits of new information to share that all harmonised in one cohesive messages of unity with each other to help wake up the sleeping church. Considering none of us to my knowledge collaborated in advance. Check it out on DVD or stream it at hearthewatchmen.com

23rd September 2017? The Rapture is a fact that it shall happen, however even the Lord Jesus/Yeshua said only the Father knows the day and hour. Matthew 24:36,” But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” We are however to know the season we are in, still I dare say setting any dates has caused numerous people to fall away from the faith as history has shown after they are disappointed. In the meantime we ought to be more concerned about fulfilling the great commission and dealing with the cares of today. For we read in 1 Peter 5:7,” Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” So you might wonder how is this going to work pray tell? First thing seeing how the Lord Jesus/Yeshua knows everything including the secrets of your heart might I suggest in the strongest terms possible you simply be honest and transparent with him. Tell him what you see that is wrong in your life or in your body. Ask him to restore and heal you and carry you through those difficult times and seasons and in simple child like faith believe he will do just that.

After all the Lord tells us in Luke 11:11,” If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?”

One gets to meet all sorts of interesting people flying from place to place in route to such events. The Lord continues to arranged divine appointment for us, for example after the airlines told me in route that my flight was cancelled and it be 8 hours until the next connecting flight. I just looked at the clerk behind the desk in moment of unbelief and silently prayed. Suddenly the clerk looked up and commented how he had seen me on some television show, looked a wee bit sheepish and then proceeded to arranged to get me on a flight that left in 2 hours. This also resulted in a seat in 1st class. The gentlemen who sat down next to me started a conversation straightway, most likely wanting to know what rock band I played with? After a few minutes he said,” You are not very politically correct telling me about Jesus after only 5 minutes of conversation. My responses was, “You mean it took me a whole 5 minutes to get there? I ended up praying with him to receive Christ as Lord of his life before we landed, gaining a new friend and brother in Christ. Several of my friends and relatives claim every time I fly someone is saved or healed. After all it is a captive audience. 🙂

Truly we must wake up the church before it is too late and get on with the great commission.

Luke 10:2,”Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.”

I dare say, the Word of God is an ultimatum, not an alternative lifestyle.

Josh Tolley amazed those attending the conference when shared how one of his friends saw the power of the Gospel in real time when a persons foot grew back in front of him whilst at a prayer meeting in Africa.

Smith Wigglesworth once said, “There are not many words in “Only believe,” but God is at the back of the “only”!

There are actually a number of such reports including the account where Smith Wigglesworth in the 1940’s  told a man without feet to go buy a pair of shoes. The man without feet received a miracle as he put his stubs into the shoes and straightway received new feet on his legs.  All things are possible with the Lord Jesus/Yeshua.

During this conference as in the other Hear The Watchman conferences I ended up ministering and praying for several people the Lord healed of various issues, like one lady with horrid back spasms who couldn’t even sit. It was a packed conference room and a gentleman who saw her standing nearby offered her a seat. I overheard her say she couldn’t sit because of the terrible pain she suffered. The Lord told me pray for her, and I actually hesitated for a moment in the crowded room and so the Holy Spirit told me a second time. Not wanting to do a “Johan”, I boldly went up to her and prayed. She found me later at my book table next day and told me what the Lord had already shown me that she tell me, “how all the pain had left her body after I prayed for her”. All glory to God, praise the Lord. I encourage you to step out in faith and trust the Lord to heal others through you in these end times. If someone is miraculously healed everyone shall know you couldn’t do that expect the Lord used you for a creative cure. (Mark 16:15-20) Christ shall be work with you, confirming the word with signs following.

At the end of my presentation on Epigenetics and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, I told everyone there, “if you want to know if you got Baptised in the Holy Ghost go find some people who need to be healed and lay your hands on them in faith in the almighty name of Jesus/Yeshua.”  If they are healed and recover the devil and his kingdom of darkness loses and you will begin to pray for others to be healed. I am so grateful to Pastor Paul and Heidi Begley for there willingness in helping me minister to the crowd of people who came to receive the Holy Ghost Baptism.

There was also a lot of concern about things unfolding prophetically at this conference. After all we are watchman on the wall forewarning you of what we see approaching.

Quite a lot of chat happened about the 23rd of September and Revelation 12 which my friend Scottie Clarke focused on addressing. This was also his very first lecture before a live audience/congregation. Scottie shared some insights not many have ever heard or considered before.

Let us keep in mind the catching away of the remnant church, (rapture) is a fact and shall happen at some future date, sooner then most expect. None of us are date setting, however Biblical prophesy is being fulfilled at an alarming pace.

My take on this is that we carry on being a doer of the Word that we not be deceived. (James 1:22)

What we find in Revelation Chapter 4, is we discover the church is now caught up together with the Lord Jesus/Yeshua in heaven. The church here is basically represented by the twenty-four elders seated around the throne of God.

It appears to me that the church has experienced being carried away or born again of incorruptible seed (Raptured). 1 Peter 1:23,”Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”

Our English word rapture comes  the Greek word “harpazo”, and “rapio” in Latin. We read in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 ,” then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

The term “rapture” has especially been used to help distinguish this event from the event of the “Second Coming” of Jesus Christ to Earth.

Now it is interesting how the church is never mentioned again in the Holy Scripture as being on earth after Revelation Chapter 3.

How fascinating to know also the elders identify themselves in Chapter 5 as having been redeemed from the earth. We also must note that the four winged beasts full of eyes round about the throne of our Lord have been created specifically to worship God. Perhaps they are the Seraphim and Cherubim described by the Old Testament prophets Isaiah and Ezekiel. What about us? We read in John 4:24,” God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” Therefore I dare say, the truth of the Holy Spirit is happening regardless of what the world thinks or does.

The great red dragon recorded here is Satan, who has been cast out of heaven and that the Lord Jesus/Yeshua said he saw falling down to the earth, fulfilling another mystery of God which the Lord declared to the prophets, as recorded in Luke Chapter 10.

Luke 10:18,” And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.”

It appears to me that having seven heads with ten horns and seven crowns upon his heads symbolises Satan’s domination of seven past world kingdoms and ten future kingdoms. These could be nations that will embrace globalisation of a one world government and religion and is dominated through Antichrist. It also appears a third part of the stars of heaven symbolise the number of angels cast out of heaven with Satan.

Could the manchild symbolises the hundred and forty-four thousand Jews with the seal of God in their foreheads, which is recorded in Revelation 7:4,” And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.”
Will CERN be a major player in the great deception now quickly approaching by helping to fulfill Revelation 9:2,” And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.

6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.”

In the meantime the firstfruits unto God come out of tribulations of a new redeemed Israel. They are raptured “caught up” to with the Lord, so the devil cannot access them. The devil in his brain damaged and delusional state then turns on Israel and tries to destroy her. Every nation will come against her and ultimately lose. Genesis 12:3,” And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

Keeping in mind the Antichrist, makes war on Israel after breaking their seven years peace treaty. This will happen during second stage of the tribulation which will last another three and a half years. My mate Russ Dizdar has been forewarning us of what he calls the Black Awakening which may make Hitler and Nazi look like choir boys by comparison.

However the Lord provides a way of escape for Israel and sustains her for the three and a half years in a place of refuge. The devil of course is the embodiment of hate and even hates the ones who foolishly work for him. He shall continue to make war on the godly Jews left behind who were not able find safety. Obviously many get saved after the rapture takes place too. Best you get with the Lord now so you can have your best life forever in Christ.

Pray this now….

Dear Lord God Almighty,

I recognise and admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that I know must have grieved you. I am truly sorry, and I repent now of all these things on both sides of my generation all the way back to Adam. I ask you to forgive me now as I forgive all others who have hurt me in any way or offended me, including myself.

I believe that Jesus/Yeshua died on the cross for me, to save me for all eternity and was resurrected 3 days later. You did what I could not do for myself. I come to you now and surrender my life to you Lord Jesus/Yeshua. I want to live a life from this day forward that is glorifying to you. Baptise me Lord in the Holy Spirit and in water,  help me to live every day for you and in a way that pleases you.

I love you, Lord, and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you. I pray this in the almighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Messiah Yeshua.

Amen.

Seeing encouraging and uplifting comments is a blessings for those who make them and for those who receive them, however for those who feel compelled to make invalid negative commentary and post them on social media must not understand essential biblical foundations for truth. They also do not seem to understand the grave consequences of how every idle word you speak shall be eventually be dealt with.
All the things you think, say, do and write means you shall one day give an account before the Lord Jesus/Yeshua for them. You shall certainly regret on this day for speaking foolishness and ignorantly against your brothers and sisters that Christ calls his friends. For we read in John15:15,”Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.”
Seriously do you want to insult the Lord Jesus/Yeshua’s friends?
Psalm 105:15,” Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”
If you have anything against someone consider the instructions we are given in places like Mathew 18. Go to them first in privacy and try to sort your grievance out. In social media you can send a message in privacy, hint, hint, nudge, nudge.
There are a number of steps needed to be taken before you blurt out your thoughts before the entire world and both invisible Kingdoms. I ask that you prayerfully consider this before writing on social media how you personally don’t care for the ways someone sounds, look, speaks, acts or has accomplished, especially when they are dedicated to honouring the Lord Jesus/Yeshua with all their gifts and talents.

Unless you are actually just a programmed bot,  as  today more than half of all web traffic is made up of bots which analyses and files information from web servers at many times the speed of any human  is able to accomplish.  Regardless someone programmed that and will be held accountable.
We read in Matthew 12:36,”But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”
I remind you also it is written in Proverbs 21:23,”Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.” You may avoid much troubles in your life if you would only think and recognise where your thoughts come from before acting on any of them. Keeping in mind not every thought you have is your own. Someone or something must first think a thought before it can merge with your own thinking.

For all the self appointed critics of the watchmen, researchers, pastors, prophets, teachers, evangelist, apostles and those in the Christian arts, who is it who gave you the standard to come against those serving the Lord?
For example who was it who decided music for Christians today is suppose to be soft and played on acoustic instruments? After all we are instructed in places like Psalm 33:3,” Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.” Who decided what constitutes what sort of artistic expressions are acceptable today for the church and which to reject?
If the self appointed critics actually used the same methods on themselves how would they judge themselves? (see 1 Corinthians 11:31)
Would they use these same standards they come against others with for such things used for common clothing so we can all tell real Christians from those in the world? If such reasoning’s were actually logical wouldn’t all Christians drive the same model motorcars and all live in similar looking homes whilst all dressing, speaking and acting exactly alike? Or better yet all walk or ride donkey’s or horses when travelling anywhere as they did 2000 years ago? Is playing skilfully new songs before the Lord also include playing solos at virtuosity level or are we only allowed to keep recycling the same old three chord progressions? At what point having a biblical perspective are we to accept or reject creative ideas that push us out of our comfort zone if we are to play new songs and play skilfully?

It wasn’t that many years ago when only pipe organs were deemed acceptable for church music. Then you had an element in churches, probably manifesting the same unclean spirits as today who complained the organist played too loud or too soft each week. Along with those who were programmed to believe how you can’t honour the Lord in worship using a pipe organ, a guitar or any other instruments that social engineers came against over the years.
Yes whether it is a traditional or contemporary service there shall be people with hearing problems or hearing sensitivities showing up. Some of them try and dictate for everyone gathered together by complaining about how the worship is simply too painful for them to endure, so it must be for you too. Others may not like the style or have any sound reasoning’s except they say “I don’t like it.” Missing the heart of worship and the blessings that would ensue for them if they only got their spiritual eyes off themselves and onto the Lord Jesus/Yeshua. (Think of Peter walking on water here.)
How many people have written on prayer cards or offering envelopes disguising their complaint about volume as a prayer request: “Please pray for the organist who feels it’s his or her job to make us all deaf”

Let’s face the facts here and understand you can’t hardly get three people to agree on what to eat for lunch and where to eat it. However, the Lord inspired 40 authors who wrote the Holy Bible over a period of 1,500 years to be in complete agreement with each other, as it is divinely written.
If we were listening more and obeying the Holy Spirit in all things would any of us actually be willing writing hurtful comments about our brothers and sisters, many of whom we know very little about?
After all we read in 1 Corinthians 12:25,” That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.”

If the Lord Jesus/Yeshua and the original disciples appeared in the flesh today, how many self appointed critics would tell them to go get haircut’s and put on some modern attire?
Why do certain people who say they love Jesus/Yeshua feel so compelled to complain on the worlds social media trying to tear others down?
If you don’t care for someone’s research, insight or artistic expressions why must you voice your negativity for all to witness your ignorance and arrogance? How does that help anyone draw closer to Christ?
Is it simply because they do not recognise the critical spirits in themselves manifesting such negative perspectives and emotions? Are they simply so insensitive and damaged that they are totally unaware how their words offend and effect so many others?  Are they unable to process social clues because they have succumb to the pharmaceutical medications that impair their mental abilities? Keeping in mind hurt people hurt other people, which grieves the Holy Spirit whilst it must delight the Kingdom of darkness.

Seems to me when approaching anything, we find ourselves experiencing it, observing it, seeing or hearing it etc, and how it makes us feel inside.
Generally speaking, we tend to either like something or not like it. From this perspective, it is really quite subjective and that includes stimulating many past thoughts and memories you have acquired along the way. Being subjective we tend to base new ideas in how we have been influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions. This of course almost completely dominates our way of experiencing life.
From a biblical perspective it seems especially important we consider if this honours the Lord or not? Could we also come to develop an informed or objective opinion rather than just an instinctual reaction this way?
We read in Hosea 4:6,”My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”
I dare say, keeping an open objective view would be keeping within the frame work of seeing things from a heavenly perspective. How shall you deal with Quantum physics and Transhumism approaching all of us in the near future if you can’t handle the basics of reality?
We read in 1 Corinthians 2:16,” For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.”
Could we then apply this to focus our thinking in more healthy ways emotionally, spiritually and intellectually?
Life is rather complex, and there is great satisfaction from learning and practising looking at things with the mind of Christ. Studying to show ourselves approved, exploring the Word of God, appropriating it in our life and finding continual profound meaning, whilst not shying away from those in the family of God simply because we may not understand them yet.

We read in 1 John 4:20,“If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?”
A Troll was once defined as a mythical being, often depicted as a giant (Nephilim) or a dwarf (Grey’s), typically having a grotesque appearance and speaking and acting in very ugly ways.
Today the internet appears to have a new version of Troll’s as someone manifesting ugly to new degrees as they are used of the kingdom of darkness to sow seeds of discord. They desire to start arguments, and provoke, basically wanting to upset who they are able to with their posting inflammatory, and extraneous commentary. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. The new internet Trolls now live under an internet bridge and love to hunt for innocent netizens. Pray they make their peace with the Lord Jesus/Yeshua before it is too late.
We read in Leviticus 19:16,”Thou shalt not go up and down [as] a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I [am] the LORD.”

Replaying Thoughts

28 Apr

What You think About With Your Mind Causes Changes In Your Brain and Body

We all have much to think about and consider each day, moment to moment as we move ever closer to the cosmic grand finale. We read in 1 Thessalonians 4:17,” Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”

Once we true spirit-filled believers are taken up with Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Messiah Yeshua there is nothing restraining the kingdom of darkness for a season until we return with the Lord Jesus/Yeshua on flying white horses. The Lord shall then restrain all evil and bring true peace on earth. Being an equestrian, I am especially looking forward to that eventuality of being part of Christ’s Eternal Cavalry. Indeed it will be a very exciting and impressive cosmic ending as all of the performers visible and invisible will come onto the world stage for the grand finale. We read in Titus 2:13,“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” (Victory in Jesus my Saviour, forever!) In the meantime we are to carry on with the great commission to share Christ’s love, heal the sick and cast out demons in Jesus/Yeshua’s almighty name whilst studying to show ourselves approved and helping others understand the unprencented times we now live in.

During the years of public ministry we observe the Lord Jesus/Yeshua’s tremendous impact on his disciple John, who brought about sanctification in an exemplified way. John quickly appears to have accepted Christ’s reproofs and made the necessary adjustments in the process. Seems to me John was able to recognise his own deficiencies, and was humbled by the revelations he was entrusted with, along with the mercy, grace and love of our saviour. What could we learn from such lessons of humility and patience if we would fully embrace the Gospel truth at such levels to trust the Lord for every detail of our lives?

At the Cross as the Lord Jesus/Yeshua greatly suffered excruciating agony for the sins of this fallen world, it was John,” the disciple standing by, whom he loved”, that he chose to care for his mother the blessed Virgin Mary. (John 19:26-27) I imagine the Lord Jesus/Yeshua didn’t want his own mother to watch of his suffering and had his trusted disciple John escort her away from the traumatic drama unfolding. Considering the fact all his other disciples had already abandon him at this point. Whatsoever we are dealing with presently the takeaway message for us is that our Lord works all things together for good as proven by his glorious resurrection 3 days later. This again is why we must walk in faith and not go by how things may look. (2 Corinthians 5:7) It is also not productive to keep reliving past mistakes you have repented for as if you could redo them again and have a different results. Whenever you find yourself dwelling on thoughts like, “if only I would have, should have, or could have,” your headed down a fearful poisonous pathway.

Every time you meditate repeatedly on a similar thoughts you are impacting your life. By continually replaying that thought it is actively changing your brain and body chemistry in either a positive or negative way. For the true spirit-filled believer bringing every thought, (all 30.000 to 70.000) a day into captivity under the obedience of Christ takes some practice, faith and some work. This is why we are instructed in 2 Corinthians 10:5,”Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

Why allow just any thought to wander about in your mind? That is rather dangerous on many levels, and yet so many people ignorantly participate in such practice which is basically equivalent to leaving all your doors and windows open and unlocked so anyone or thing can come and go as it pleases. Most people probably wouldn’t allow wild animals to roam about their homes any more then they willingly allow a group of programmed terrorist/assassins to be invited in to steal, kill and destroy them. Yet when you allow just any thought such freedom this is in effect what you are doing.

Seems to me the devil and his demons have figured out that all they have to do is send someone an unclean thought, feeling or vain imagination, and if they accept it like a fish grabbing a bated hook, all the devil has to do is reel you in and watch you self-destruct. Keep in mind, the power of the Holy Spirit in you is always greater than any spirit of fear, stress and anxiety that tries to come against you! We read in Romans 1:21,”Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,”

“Vain” imaginations most likely be referring to anything that is pointless and profitless. For example, anything that exalts self like a spirit of pride. If your thinking is skewed by social engineering it will impact your behaviours so even anything rooted in truth through the spirit of pride becomes perverted by vain imaginations which renders it a lie in the end. For example someone who thinks their better then others who may be less fortunate. Luke 18:13,”And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.” The Holy Scriptures tells us that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Luke 6:45,” A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.”

The Lord designed you to be able to understand, love and help each other. We read in James 2:18,” Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.” Staying in faith means staying in the Word of God so the Word of God stays in you. Seems if we must work daily then let us work for the Lord Jesus/Yeshua and do as He instructs us so we shall be blessed by meditating on whatever is true, pure, lovely, of good report and praise worthy. (Philippians 4:8) Because your brain is going to convert all these thoughts into a reaction that is going to release healing molecules and produce health in your mind and body, soul and spirit as a result as you do. The Lord even tells us in Proverbs 17:22,” A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.”

Keeping a happy heart is good medicine and in fact better then medicine because a cheerful mind works supernatural healing in your body. Trusting the Lord Jesus/Yeshua for everything and every detail of your life causes your kidneys to release a substance called DHEA which carries the emotion of joy so your heart releases a chemical called ANF which carries the emotion of peace, bringing healing spiritually, emotionally and physically to you.

Many thoughts may seem harmless at first, but in this fallen world often subtle harmless thoughts can becomes poisonous, as we might observe from seeing how the devil tricked Eve in the garden to question if God really said what He means, and means what He said! All thoughts we entertain can become spiritually, emotionally and physically dangerous if we do not capture each one to the obedience of Christ! Best to ask for every thought you entertain to produce a valid passport before you allow just any thought to come wandering about in your mind for an extended period of time. Because no one, no spirit, no thought can stand before the Lord Jesus/Yeshua who is all knowing and all powerful and get away with lying in front of Him! Trust me on that!

When you continually listen to those poisonous thoughts which often come as feelings of dread and fear, of anxiety, and self-hatred, of self-condemnation, rejection, of self-rejection, self-pity, of anger and rage, unforgiveness, bitterness, envy and jealousy all the way to listening to spirits of murder with your tongue against others and yourself, how do you think your body reacts?

It is proven in the Holy Word of God and through medical and scientific research now that your body is secreting chemicals and hormones in response to those spiritual attacks that are counterproductive to your health and steal your supernatural peace the Lord Jesus/Yeshua wants you to have and enjoy. (John 14:27)

Your body can only respond to what your spirit and mind is telling it and your brain is converting all those thoughts into a physical reactions and physical mental real-estate that is leading you to prosper in health or to experience the development of various sickness and diseases in your body. The Lord clearly tells us we must take care of our thought life. Proverbs 25:28,” He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.”

Which means anything can come and go as it pleases and make a tremendous mess anywhere it wants because you won’t keep your supernatural armour on and stand guard to protect your spirit, soul, mind and body as you are commanded to do. Yes it is true God is in ultimate control, but he gave you free will so He will not control your thought life, you must do that part and the Lord shall do the rest!

After many years of study I am persuaded that Papa God does everything by prayer and nothing much without it. Therefore we ought to keep pressing in and simply believe His Word in our hearts for that miracle in the almighty name of Jesus/Yeshua. Philippians 4:6,” Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”
